Official MLSR Press Release

Major League Sim Racing is proud to announce one of the most significant updates to the MLSR website since the organization’s launch, introducing a wide range of new features designed to enhance the driver experience and establish a permanent home for every competitor’s racing career.

While many of these features were originally planned for the inaugural season, development timelines pushed their release beyond opening day. Rather than waiting until Season 2, MLSR has accelerated the rollout to make these tools available to the community immediately.

The update represents another step toward MLSR’s long-term vision of creating a structured racing organization where every event, statistic, achievement, and championship contributes to a driver’s lasting legacy.

Enhanced Driver Profiles

Driver profiles have been completely redesigned to provide a cleaner presentation and a more comprehensive overview of each competitor’s MLSR career.

Every profile now serves as a centralized hub for career accomplishments, season performance, and historical race data, giving drivers a deeper look at their progression over time.

Career Statistics & Race History

Every official MLSR race is now automatically recorded and added to each driver’s profile.

As seasons progress, competitors will build a complete race-by-race history alongside continuously updated career statistics, milestone achievements, and season performance, creating a permanent record of their journey through Major League Sim Racing.

Automated Team Championship Standings

For the first time, every MLSR series now features fully automated Team Championship standings.

Just as outlined in the MLSR Rulebook, only each organization’s top two scoring drivers contribute toward the Team Championship, allowing team owners and drivers to follow their championship battle throughout the season.

Expanded Performance Metrics

Driver profiles now include a significantly expanded collection of statistics, including:

  • Starts
  • Wins
  • Top 5 Finishes
  • Top 10 Finishes
  • Average Starting Position
  • Average Finishing Position
  • Laps Led
  • Average Incidents Per Race
  • Season Statistics
  • Recent Race Results
  • Career Progression

These metrics provide drivers with a more complete picture of their performance while making it easier to track improvement from season to season.

League Record Book

Drivers can now compete for a place in the MLSR record books.

The new League Records section tracks all-time statistical leaders across numerous categories, allowing competitors to measure their accomplishments against every driver who has competed in Major League Sim Racing.

Driver Comparisons

A new Driver Comparison tool allows users to compare two competitors side-by-side across a wide variety of career statistics.

Whether comparing teammates, championship rivals, or friends, drivers can now see exactly how their careers stack up against one another.

Track Performance History

Each driver profile now includes detailed performance history at every track on the MLSR schedule.

From favorite venues to tracks that continue to present new challenges, competitors can review their historical results and identify trends throughout their careers.

New Statistics Center

All of these new features are brought together through an all-new Statistics Center, providing a centralized destination for exploring driver performance, historical data, championship information, and league records.

The new hub makes navigating the growing collection of MLSR statistics faster and more intuitive than ever before.

Building Career Mode for League Racing

This release represents more than just a website update—it marks another milestone in MLSR’s long-term vision.

From its inception, Major League Sim Racing has aimed to create what can best be described as career mode for league racing: an environment where every lap completed, every race entered, every championship pursued, and every achievement earned becomes part of a driver’s lasting story.

Rather than existing only in the moment, each season now contributes to an expanding historical record that drivers can revisit for years to come.

Whether chasing a first victory, competing for a Team Championship, climbing the all-time record books, or simply reflecting on a racing career, the MLSR website is designed to preserve those moments and celebrate the accomplishments of its community.

More to Come

This update serves as the foundation for future website enhancements already in development.

Major League Sim Racing remains committed to expanding the platform with new features, deeper statistics, and additional tools that continue to elevate the experience for drivers, team owners, and fans alike.

As MLSR continues to grow, so too will the technology and resources that support the league—ensuring every season adds another chapter to the history of Major League Sim Racing.
