For every driver who has signed up, every team owner who has assembled a roster, every broadcaster preparing for opening night, and every fan who has followed MLSR from the beginning, Daytona International Speedway represents more than just the first race of the season.
It represents the beginning of league history.
No one can ever become the second winner of an inaugural race. No one else will ever earn the first pole position, lead the first championship standings, or celebrate the first victory in MLSR’s A-Open, B-Open, or C-Open Series. Those moments belong to the drivers who take the green flag this week.

Months of Preparation Come to Life
Long before a single lap was turned, the foundation for Major League Sim Racing was being built.
League officials spent months developing a comprehensive rulebook, building a custom website, establishing team ownership, creating championship formats, securing broadcast partnerships, and preparing the infrastructure needed to support a season-long racing organization.
Now, all of that preparation gives way to competition.
Once the green flag waves, the focus shifts from planning to performance.
Every Championship Starts the Same Way
Daytona has never rewarded only the fastest car.
It rewards discipline, teamwork, patience, and knowing when to make the move that matters.
For some drivers, this week will mark the beginning of a championship campaign.
For others, it will serve as an early reminder of just how unforgiving stock car racing can be.
But every championship story begins the same way—with Race 1.
From the Commissioner’s Desk
For Commissioner Adam Ramsey, Speedweek represents the payoff for months of work behind the scenes.
“It’s been an incredible amount of work in a very short time,” Ramsey said. “But when the green flag drops, every damn second of it will be worth it. Seeing this community come together and finally watching these drivers take the track is exactly why we built Major League Sim Racing.”
The Broadcast Begins
This week also marks the beginning of MLSR’s partnership with Precision Entertainment, bringing professional live coverage to the A-Open, B-Open, and C-Open Series throughout Season 1.
Combined with race recaps, championship coverage, and weekly storytelling, every event is another opportunity to continue building the history of Major League Sim Racing.
The Green Flag Is Finally Here
For months, the focus has been on preparation.
This week, the focus shifts to competition.
The schedules are set. The broadcasts are ready. Now it’s time to see who writes the first chapter of MLSR history.

Now it’s time to stop planning and start racing.
